1. Conditions and stipulations in force
The following conditions and stipulations are applicable to all orders unless a separate formal purchase contract has been concluded with TuningBox®. By ordering products or by accepting delivery of the products, you recognise and accept these conditions and stipulations.
TuningBox® reserves the right to modify these conditions and stipulations at any time and without prior notice. TuningBox® also reserves the right to modify its products with regard to the information communicated through its website. The goods can be ordered by post, fax, phone or email.
2. Accuracy
When you order, you are solely responsible for the data recorded. Be sure, therefore, that the data you supply is precise and exhaustive. Carefully examine the description of the product and the technical details before placing an order. If you have questions about a product, you can always send an e-mail to info@tuningbox.com
3. Technical details
Power increases obtained with a TUNINGBOX ® are variable depending on the condition of the engines and vehicles. Power increases on this site are indicative and do not constitute a contractual commitment.
4. Modes of payment
Most of the invoices are paid by wire transfer before being delivered and the goods are shipped as soon as the wire transfer gets on TUNINGBOX ® bank account.
Sometimes, payment is possible with Visa or MasterCard.
The amount due is debited in EUR.
TUNINGBOX ® cannot be held responsible for supplementary charges or fees resulting from transaction indemnities or fluctuations in exchange rates.
Ensure that the credit card number and the expiry date indicated are correct.
Incorrect information can lead to delays in handling your order.
Payment by credit card is subject to the approval of the financial institution issuing the card.
TUNINGBOX ® cannot be held responsible in the case of refusal by a financial institution to accept or honour the credit card for any reason whatsoever.
TUNINGBOX ® takes all reasonable precautions, within the company's capacity, to render the details of your order and your payment secure.
Except in the case of negligence emanating from within itself, TUNINGBOX ® cannot be held responsible for any eventual losses resulting from the fact that a third party may have gained illegal access to the data you have registered.
5. Despatch and transaction
You recognise and accept the payment of all the transaction and despatch costs, as well as of VAT and any other taxes applicable to your order.
These costs are automatically calculated for you and debited to your credit card account at the same time as the total purchase price for the product, at the moment of despatch of your order.
The actual costs may vary and will be charged on your invoice.
TUNINGBOX ® works with TNT for the despatch of your order.
This is why it is impossible to deliver to box number addresses.
The despatch and delivery data mentioned are no more than anticipated estimates and TUNINGBOX ® cannot be held responsible for losses, damage or charges caused by non-respect of the despatch and delivery data mentioned.
6. Return within 7 (seven) days
If you are not totally satisfied or if the product reveals a fault within the first seven days after reception, you may return it at your cost for reimbursement or replacement.
Before sending merchandise back to us, you must send us an e-mail, at the latest 7 (seven) days after the invoice date, mentioning the following details: invoice number and date, product number (reference) and reason for return.
7. Guarantee
TuningBox® additional box-units are guaranteed for a period of five years starting from the date of purchase mentioned on the purchase invoice.
In case of breakdown during the guarantee period, you can contact the Service Center to report the problem before sending the box-unit back to the Service Center. Our Service Center will repair/replace the box-unit and will return it to you. All returns and transaction costs must be paid in advance by the client. The mounting and dismounting costs are borne by the customer.
TuningBox® guarantee does not cover damage caused by incompetent use, an accident, fire, unauthorised modifications, non-respect of the instructions supplied by TuningBox® or any repairs carried out by a centre not accredited by TuningBox®.
Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging, with all of the components supplied: box-units, cabling, connectors and accessories. Incomplete products are NOT accepted.
8. Force majeure
TuningBox® cannot be held responsible for losses or damage resulting from delays or of non-respect of its obligations within the framework of this contract for reasons of strike, lock-out, revolt, war, fire, natural disaster, accidents, shortages at suppliers or manufacturers of TuningBox® materials, restrictions by the authorities, absence of granting of import or export permits, infringements of the law, prescriptions or orders or for reason of any other circumstance or cause hampering the correct respect of these conditions and stipulations, or any other cause independent of the will of TuningBox®.
9. Notification
The additional box-units sold by our company are exclusively destined for motor sport. They are not approved for use on public roads. They are not accredited either by the manufacturers or the insurers. Fitting them risks annulling the manufacturer's guarantee and could be used by insurers as a reason for not covering accidents if the placing of the additional box-unit has not been declared to the insurer. Our company declines all responsibility where refusal of insurance cover or manufacturer's guarantee are involved, or in a case of mechanical or electronic breakdown in a vehicle fitted with a box-unit. It is the responsibility of the purchaser of the additional box-unit to signal the presence of such a piece of equipment in his engine to his insurer.
Because of the variety of our products, TuningBox® disclaims all liability for use of a box that is not appropriate for the vehicle on which it was placed.
10. Use of electronic messages
TuningBox® can send you e-mail and other communications concerning your order.
You accept in the widest sense of the law that this stipulation replaces all laws which provide for other methods or other time-scales for receipt of messages concerning your order.
TuningBox® reserves the right to send messages and notifications by methods other than normal post, as well as the right to receive written messages provided that this method is prescribed elsewhere in this contract.
In case of litigation, you commit, in the widest legal sense, not to call into question the probative power of electronic orders, communications, messages or notifications within the framework of this contract.
11. Integral contract
The conditions and stipulations contained in this contract between TuningBox® and yourself represent an integral and definitive confirmation of the agreements and conventions between the parties concerning the content of this contract, and they replace all the previous conventions, contracts or written or spoken discussions.
The fact that TuningBox® does not demand the application of a condition or stipulation of this contract or its rights within the framework of this contract does not signify that TuningBox® renounces its rights or its possibility for recourse within the framework of this present contract.

Power increases on this site are indicative and the maximal possible and do not constitute a contractual commitment. Most powerboxes will be dispatched with optimal settings which are lower than the maximal and lower the fuel consumption noticeably.
